Following the successful play 'War Horse',
Steven Spielberg
has made a film to honour the eight million horses who died in World War
One.
The story of one those war horses, 'Warrior', the horse that General Seely
rode, has recently been published. Originally from the Island, Warrior
became famous for leading a charge against German tanks that effectively
saved the French town of Amiens, and perhaps the whole British effort for
the war.
