Dangerous Foods for pets
As well as the obvious cleaning materials
(bleach, detergent, soap, etc), believe it or not there are many
human foods
that are listed as dangerous to pets.
- Chocolate (contains
theobromine a diuretic and cardiac stimulant)
- Onions (including dried onions, raw and cooked onions)
- Garlic (large quantities - not as toxic as onions)
- Tobacco (including cigars and cigarettes)
- Alcohol
- Coffee (ground and coffee beans)
- Rhubarb Leaves
- Raisins and grapes
- Hops (used for making home brew beer)
- Potato peelings
- Tomato leaves and stems (green parts)
- Broccoli (large )
