Assessment
Chiropractic
assessment will usually tell you immediately whether problems are due to a
misalignment between spinal or limb bones.
 If
it is, treatment will be able to correct this very quickly, simply
with
manipulation by hand. Vav will almost always treat your animal there and then,
and usually need very few return visits to complete the treatment.
Chiropractic assessment examines the whole body to find the
sources of the problem. These can sometimes be a long way away from the apparent
site of the problem. This can help to solve mysteries, and together with the
vet, miracles have been performed!
Other areas of misalignment can be found, that have not caused
significant problems, may have contributed to an overall weakening of health
and /or performance.
Vav
prefers to visit the home to see your animal’s living conditions, which
sometimes provides a clue about what is going wrong.
 She
will often watch your horse or dog walk and trot. She will then palpate the
bones with her fingers, feeling for misalignments.
Even if
you do not know what has caused the problem, Vav will be able to find any
misalignments present, and may form a theory on what has happened. This helps
her advise you to prevent the problem returning.
Before she treats your
animals, Vav will explain what she has found and her plans.
