For Horses - Our Natural Therapy Rehabilitation Programmes

We can combine our various natural therapies to make special programmes.

Horses may suffer as a result of accidents, operations, illness and old-age. Working with veterinary medicine, we can help to speed up recovery, extend the health and performance achieved and/or improve the quality of life for the elderly. We use combinations of the following:

Chiropractic

- by post-graduate McTimoney chiropractors

*          tackling unexplainable equitation problems

*          alleviating lameness and gait problems

*          resolving unexpected change in performance

Limb Lavage

- using ‘jacuzzi boot’ proprietary design

*          limb joint problems

*          topical problems like mud fever, speedy cuts, over-reaches

Deep Heat

- using infrared heat array gantry

*          relaxation after illness, trauma, surgery

*          back muscle problems and saddle traumas

*          increases circulation, speeding up oxygen transportation

- using ultra-violet light gantry

*          increases circulation, speeding up oxygen transportation

*          encouraging the lymphatic system efficiency

Ultrasound Deep Tissue Treatment

- using longwave ultrasound machine

*          deep muscle, ligament and fascia repair

*          reduces inflammation and swelling in joints

*          alleviates pain and promotes natural healing

Massage

- using hand massage or massage machine for deep muscle work

*          freeing of specific muscle groups

*          releasing muscle and fascia spasm

*          stimulating blood-flow

Acupuncture

- by visiting vet or topical stimulation by laser pen

*          stabilising or improving organ function

*          stimulating the immune and circulatory systems

*          pain relief
