Introduction to Canine Hydrotherapy

for staff starting in professional hydrotherapy

 

 The skills to start in hydrotherapy, including discussions on:

  1. basic canine anatomy & physiology

  2. gait analysis and problem identification

  3. specifying equipment and setting-up according to the service to be provided

  4. developing hydrotherapy practice – rehab, fitness and fun categories of work

  5. professionalism in approach to therapy and care for animals

Hydrotherapy staff need to provide a professional service, to reassure owners and referrers that the service can help animals return to health and happiness.
